Southeastern Warehouse Association 2024 Recap 

SC Codeworks recently attended and sponsored the Southeastern Warehouse Association (SWA) Annual Meeting and Convention held at the beautiful Zota Beach Resort in Longboat Key, Florida, from September 18-22, 2024. This one-of-a-kind annual event brought together industry leaders, service providers, and innovators from warehouse and 3PL operations in a relaxed, family-friendly gathering at a luxury resort to discuss the latest trends and advancements in the warehousing and logistics sector. 

SC Codeworks was represented at the meeting by Amy Dean, Vice President of Operations, Tatiana Munoz, Director of Marketing and Tim Brown, Real Estate Developer Lead. The intentionally small and intimate regional conference blended relaxed activities alongside networking and industry presentations as well as a remarkable inspirational keynote from author Todd Huston.

This year's theme "Focus on the Future" set the tone for discussions around how companies are using technology such as automation, robotics, AI, and advanced data analytics to address challenges such as supply chain disruptions and labor shortages. Particularly noteworthy were the sessions on automation and AI-driven warehouse solutions, offering a glimpse into revolutionary changes that will enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors.  

The conference also generated ideas on how professionals in the logistics field can actively shape the future. Embracing flexibility, innovation, and collaboration will be essential for staying competitive and overcoming industry hurdles.
